Comprehensive redesign of the beverage and tavern menu for the traditional Berlin neighbourhood pub Albrecht-Eck in Steglitz.
The Challenge
Albrecht-Eck is an authentic, historic Berlin pub located in Steglitz. The existing drinks menu had become cluttered and failed to reflect the warm, rustic tavern ambiance. The establishment required an enduring, readable print layout clearly organizing tap beers, mixed drinks, spirits, and soft drinks.
The Solution
Conception and print prepress of a characterful drinks menu featuring parchment and wood textures. Historic typography, structured two-column price hierarchies, and vintage polaroid-style photography of the pub exterior harmonize authentic Berlin pub culture with effortless legibility in ambient lighting.
The Result
A distinctive, durable menu enhancing guest orientation, celebrating authentic Berlin neighbourhood tavern heritage, and creating a cohesive identity across the establishment.
