The Challenge
In contemporary fine art, digital design must balance absolute visual restraint with visceral emotional resonance—letting heavy textural brushstrokes and chromatic layers breathe without interface clutter. Following two decades as a creative entrepreneur, Schimmler committed fully to fine art in 2020. The challenge was architecting a museum-grade online presence that functions simultaneously as a collector showcase, a documented retrospective of prestigious exhibitions (such as Vernissage N-ICE at the historic Heeresbäckerei and Bikini Berlin), and a discreet high-value transactional gallery.
The Solution
Crafted an airy, editorial gallery experience emphasizing expansive negative space, refined typography, and full-bleed artwork vistas. Signature canvases (including Mystery7, Barok 2.0, and BlueLine) are presented with archival-grade photographic fidelity, dimension specs, and provenance narratives.
